Cuddapah District: A Historical Jewel of Andhra Pradesh

Introduction
Cuddapah, also known as Kadapa, is one of the 23 districts of Andhra Pradesh and serves as the headquarters of the Rayalaseema region. Located in the south-central part of the state, the district lies just 8 kilometers south of the Penna River. It is subdivided into 51 mandals, each contributing to the administrative and cultural fabric of the region. The district is renowned not only for its geographical significance but also for its rich historical legacy, which spans centuries and reflects the rise and fall of numerous dynasties.
