England entered the league as favourites and played to the expectations. Eion Morgan team had won their four matches in a row and lost their previous game to South Africa. They had a brilliant start to their campaign when they restricted batting-heavy West Indies to just 55 runs on the board. England brought their A-game into action against Australia and dominated completely with bat and ball. The English team looks formidable in every department and certainly looks better than any other team in the tournament. Jos Butler is in great form and providing the much-needed start for his team. Butler scored his maiden T20I century against Sri Lanka in this tournament when he smashed a last-ball six. England will be without the services of Jason Roy, who is ruled out of the league due to an injury against South Africa. English bowlers have succeeded to pressure opponent batters throughout the tournament. Eion Morgan and the team will eye on their second trophy.
