In just a matter of a few months, billions of lives around the world have changed. The way we work. The way we travel. The way we buy necessities for our everyday use. Everything has changed. While some of these changes are temporary, others may prove lasting. COVID-19 changed the way we perceive life as we know it.
With a worldwide death toll of over six hundred thousand (at the time of writing this article), this incredibly contagious virus has managed to bring the world to its knees. While many of us are still working from home, there is also a significant number of people who have lost their jobs and are looking for new ones. These people worry about not enough money to feed them and their families three squared meals a day. With unemployment on the rise, the world is heading towards a global recession. As the death toll steadily rises, we continue to do our bit and keep maintaining distance from one another, whether it is the park, out shopping, or in our places of worship.
