Android’s New Fake Call Detection Could Help Stop AI Scam Calls
Google is introducing a new fake call detection feature for Android devices to help users fight back against AI-powered scam calls and deepfake impersonation fraud. The security feature will first arrive on Pixel devices and aims to verify whether a trusted contact is genuinely calling you or if scammers are attempting to fake their identity using AI-generated voices.
