To ensure the safe operation of the NPK bulk blending machine—and to prevent electrical leakage and electric shock hazards—the grounding protection system must be installed in strict compliance with standards and connected reliably. During both construction and operation, particular attention should be paid to the following precautions:

First, a dedicated protective grounding system must be strictly implemented. The power supply system should adhere to the “three-phase five-wire” standard, wherein the protective earth wire (PE) is laid out separately. It is strictly prohibited to mix, cross-connect, or share a single wire with the neutral working wire (N); this prevents the neutral wire from becoming energized—a condition that could trigger electric shocks or cause equipment malfunctions. The metal enclosures and structural components of all motors, distribution boxes, control cabinets, frames, screw conveyors, mixers, screening machines, packaging machines, and similar equipment must be individually and reliably connected to the grounding system. No piece of equipment or section of metal framework may be omitted.

Second, grounding materials must be selected in accordance with national standards—specifically, flat steel, round steel, or copper-core grounding wires. Connection points must be secured with bolts and treated with anti-rust agents to ensure excellent contact and reliable conductivity; loose connections, simple wire wrapping, or clamping onto rusted or painted surfaces are strictly prohibited. Grounding electrodes must be buried in moist, highly conductive soil. The grounding resistance must be strictly maintained below 4Ω; upon completion of installation, specialized instrumentation must be used to verify compliance before the production line is put into operation.
